A group of eminent agriculturalists meet on a quarterly basis, including past government permanent secretaries and ministers, leaders of organisations such as the National Trust and Soil Association and large farming businesses, and it is chaired by Lord Don Curry. The meetings invite guests, such as the Secretary of State, author of the Foresight report into the Future of Food and Farming, chair of the better regulation taskforce to speak and answer questions and get advice from the Forum.
